Pride in Brighton & Hove promotes equality and diversity, and advances education to eliminate discrimination against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community. It raises awareness by promoting and staging a series of events including Winter Pride and the annual free summer festival and making grants and donations to other charitable organisations.
Brighton Pride is the largest event of its kind, attracting 120,000 people each year. The summer festival runs for a week. The Carnival Parade and main event in Preston Park is on Saturday 4th August.
The Carnival Parade starts in Maderia Drive at 11.30am. The main event on Preston Park from 12-8pm.
